You know, the people are more interested in trains which arrive late than right on time. You will always find comments about poor services or tricky situations for any brand. Because I don't know a brand which has a 100% quality.
Believe me, the quality of service for a brand like Cartier is crucial. We are talking here about its reputation. Your watch needs a full service due to its current state. You have to send it to Cartier and I'm sure that you won't be disappointed by the service.
Of course, please keep us informed.
Best regards.

It seems that your watch needs a complete overhaul. It's better to send it to Cartier for servicing. I don't know what "horror" stories have you heard but Cartier has everything in place to make it like new. A watch needs to be serviced every 5-6 years ma...
Servicing
By: What Does Your Watch Say? : April 19th, 2014-10:39
Hi Constantin. Thank you for your reply. The watch does need servicing, as I stated in my post. My question is on the quality of service performed by Cartier. Here in Canada, Cartier/Richmont Group sends their watches to a contracted watchmaker: From Hon...
Servicing

Your watch can be serviced locally. Usually watches from Fine Watchmaking Collection are sent to Switzerland for servicing. I don't live in Canada but the conditions to be Cartier approved service provider are the same everywhere. It's true, all the key p...
