Sublime.

No, not the many fantastic shots of watches in this week's WristScan. A trio of goals that have entertained soccer (football) fans this weekend, with two prestigious tournaments going on simultaneously.

It started with Dimitri Payet's set piece winner for France Friday afternoon (GMT-5), in game one of the European Championships; one he curled into the far top (and something he has done all year  for West Ham). Friday night Leo Messi struck a set piece goal (second of a hat trick he scored in 30 minutes substituting in for Argentina) which curled into the near post top in the Copa America Centenario. And perhaps the most incredible: Luka Modric's one-timer from a cleared ball, about 15 yards out and curling away from the goal keeper. What a phenomenal threesome and what a time to be a fan! Please look at these goals on YouTube or wherever you can find them!

We just had Mexico and Jamaica at the Rose Bowl for the Copa America tournament. It was a sold out match with Mexico winning 2-0! -MW

Mexico looks dangerous. [nt]
