Glashütte Original: It looks big, but looks good...

I have a small wrist. I believe that 38mm fits me well and a 40mm starts to look big. As strange as it may sound, when I tried on the GMT sport evo (42mm), it looked great. It is a BIG watch and it will get noticed but it doesn't look out of place. Hope it helps... Tien

Horological Meandering: Would a boutique be an option?

I personally wouldn't go "gray market" for anything above 5-10K. At that price, I want to make the purchase an memorable experience. Tien

TimeOut: Looking forward to the movie!

It's one of those well-made trailers that make you want to see the movie right away. As others pointed out, ihowever, t may or may not deliver... I'll be buying my ticket, that's for sure. Tien

Rolex: Many places would give you 0% discount...

Plus, even if you looked online (gray market dealers), you wouldn't find much of a discount. So as far as I'm concerned, 10% from an authorized dealer with whom you developed a good relationship, is something good.. Congratulations on both your purchases! Tien

Chopard: Sorry to hear...

I heard many stories of people who have sent their watches in for repairs after bad scratches and the watches came back looking brand new. Plus, I've only heard good things about Chopard's customer service, so I wouldn't worry too much. Keep us posted on the development. Tien

Patek Philippe: The strap?

I understand the idea that, if a watch was tested to be water resistant, that it could be put in the water. However, the straps worry me... how are they holding up? Tien

TimeOut: The pattern that seems to come back often is...

either have a bachelor in arts or be a dropout in SOMETHING. From that, I'm thinking that I'll be sending my kids to get a bachelors degree in arts and forcing them to drop out after a few semesters. They will be soooo rich Tien

Jaeger-LeCoultre: While waiting for more qualified help...

I've only heard good things about the compressor series in general. While I was still doing research on my next purchase (a travel watch), I ran across the JLC Extreme Alarm. The features look really nice... the alarm, the world time and the 100m water resistance. Plus, I like the dial. Some would c
