What a tactful watch

Thanks for the revelation of this Cartier watch.

Very tactful time display so a genteel lady can check the time without being rude.

It's so rare that it does not appear in my reference text books on Cartier.....I have to admit that I have not read EVERY page of all my books but many years of browsing have not revealed this model before.

It is a large chunk of gold as well for that period of austerity.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to see at the Capucines Boutique of Cartier a very unusual yellow gold watch. It is a Lady's watch from the 40s (circa 1943) and designed as a buckle. The main "case" if I can use this word here is composed of a taper...
