Don't panic! Real men can look good even with non-mechanical movement on the wrist 
I asked some of these jewellery brands why they specified quartz movements and the reasons are:
1) Size of the piece neds small movement, particularly without flat crown and not on the side.
2) Client feedback that the main attraction is the decoration and cute sculpture so no need to focus on mechanical movement.
3) Client feedback preferring convenience on accurate "perpetuelle" quartz movement with only battery change every 2 - 5 years.

Is putting in a mechanical movement so difficult? Just out of curiosity Definitely admire this piece of art. Not too much on our men's wrist though, perhaps someone is enthusiastic enough to keep it just for appreciation in art craft and hand work Regards
