Thanks for the great review.
You mention and show that the owner has a Crash....it it a lady or a gentleman?
I'm trying to rationalise that the Crash can be worn by men so I can consider getting one for myself!

By: SJX : October 18th, 2012-02:17
The Tortue XL with jaguar motif was unveiled at SIHH last year as part of the Cartier d’Art collection of artistic timepieces. The Tortue jaguar was one of the highlights of the fair for me, and it is without a doubt the most striking enamelled wristwatch...

It is a hand wind calibre developed by JLC for Cartier. 3 day power reserve. Originally developed for the CPCP range, when Cartier still did not have a wide range of in-house calibres. Hence the interlocking "C" motif decoration on the movement. - SJX
