Art Deco Cartier Tank Americaine?quietly introduced at Watches & Wonders and a small limited run. How many I am not aware. Will be allocated to individual collectors. My issues is it seems the flanks are a little to broad or bulbous🤷♂️ boy we are a picky bunch 😅 I actually really like the 1908 plt other than automatic
If they did stepped flanks to break up the width

Same flanks on this as on the earlier
new release of the Tank Americaine in steel and rose gold. I find them fine. They are the same.
Honestly - even though I absolutely love the dial, I think the case lacks the elegance of the Cintree or other cpcp / privee pieces.
It is a nice watch, but for me a bit of an outlier.
Just because it’s not Cintree or cpcp/privee!
It’s an Americane…. and a beautiful one…. and expensive.
what I'm perplexed of is - the differentiation between Cintree and Americane is fading away a lot recently !
no doubt - the dial and the overall look is impressive.
