The SIHH 2015 collection starts very well: the Crash is back!

Nov 24, 2014,11:11 AM

The Crash is back and what a beautiful surprise! It comes with a fully dedicated movement, the 9618 MC. This movement, which has a 4hz frequency and a power reserve of 3 days is not skeletonized. It was created with this lay-out and we can feel it.

The Platinum case is amazing and manages to highlight the beauty of the movement.

Do  you notice how the figures are used at the same time to decorate the watch?

The finishings of the movement look spectacular and I don't even speak about its shape! I'm pretty sure that this one will not be used in a different context!

You understand it: this watch will be one of the stars of the upcoming SIHH.

I can't wait to discover it in the metal!

amazing. It is great to see the "Crash" again, in a more modern and still very special version. Looking forward to January, as well :-) Thanks, FX! Oliver

I think this is the definition of haute horlogerie. It is not about mega-complications and multi-harmonic striking mechanisms. Sometimes, its just about the PuristS' intent and execution. Regards, MTF

Thanks Melvyn!

Of course, they didn't start from scratch and we recognize the base of the skeleton (and NOT skeletonized!) movement used in several watches. But the execution is perfect and this new movement is really amazing. Can't wait to see it in the metal! Fx

in this size I'm a taker and hopefully it bit less dearer :) My endless requests would have been answered by those in the clouds at Richemont. Roni
