Exclusive live photos of the Cartier Tourbillon and crocodile Geneva Seal watch
This is Cartier's first high jewellery with complication timepiece. It is far more attractive in the metal than pictures would imply. While the tourbillon is a fairly ordinary complication, the crocodile, enamel flowers and gem setting are beautifully executed; everything comes together very well for a stunning ladies' timeiece.
Notably this is a new calibre based on the flying tourbillon movement. It has been remade to display the keyless works, gear train and barrel on the front, with an enlarged baseplate to accomodate the crocodile; in other words the movement fills the entire case and the crocodile and flowers sit on the calibre.
