Pick the right parts out of the bins.
For the SARG007, use the date wheel from the SARX015, and use the same color of white throughout. The dial has such depth from the inner bezel and applied "Seiko" name that the number markings seem too flat.
For the Marine Master, just finish the second hand as the other hands are finished.
It's odd because a more basic model, like the SBCA001 is perfectly harmonious. I can't find a single thing I don't like about the aesthetic. If it were larger, automatic, and with a sapphire crystal, I'd go for it.
I don't mean to sound overly critical. It's sometimes the little things that catch my eye, especially when they're on such a beautiful watch.
