Me the same.
Especially i do not set the date on my Omega Seamaster, 300 diver cause it have such a bad reading time display. Omega put it on, but for me they can have skip the complication, like on some Bond editions.
Watches that i have without date are easy to say much more easy and i do not mis the date functionality.
For my Baume & Mercier, with it’s five days power reserve, it is not a hassle with dates and days.
Baume & Mercier stop the reference i guess, so that means my watch gets more exclusive, rare, and personal. With the genuine green strap that must purchase separately, i have an individual little beauty that covers a special story.
Sure, the original strap that came to my green wonder, do not change the special story.
All continuous, that is what Baume & Mercier means to me.
A life long journey, it is the Patek Philippe that not cost an owner no 50K or more, and give so much watch for what it is. But that said, it is a personal story and a joy i found such a brand that fits my needs perfectly.
The R&D of Richemont did a terrific job of developing the 120 hours automatic movement. Sure, some little improvements must made, but that said, that is why Patek Philippe is pricier than others.
I am not perfect, so Baume & Mercier do well on my wrist.
That do not take it away i want to have a Patek Philippe. Experience what it is like wear a perfect made watch without any mistakes.
We’ll see, i like to get a Pilot gmt from Patek Philippe, but that sits another wish in my way as i see a nice 2 series 220i at a BMW dealer….
