Some info on ADLC, especially for aridim1Date: Apr 23, 2010,03:08 AM - (view entire thread)
Here is some information on ADLC, in light of aridim1's post on his new ADLC Santos.
Cartier is the first brand to use ADLC to coat watch cases. ADLC is more scratch and corrosion resistant than DLC coating, though not scratch-proof. Also, according to Cartier, ADLC is not fingerprint-resistant as noted in the earlier thread.
Having had experience with the ADLC Santos chronograph I can testify to its scratch-resistance.
Thanks for the folk at Cartier for this.
